Question: My car’s tags have expired how do I get new ones? I know that the cost to register my vehicle was like $60.00, however do I just go to the DMV and give them the money? or do I need to give them the registration to my car or something? please help. I did this last year but I forgot how I did it.
Answer: Depending on what state you live in, you may need emissions and/or safety inspections, show proof of insurance, pay taxes, license fees, and whatever other fees such as late fees. You should go to the DMV and find out what is required since the answer really depends on where you live.
